Thank you for considering purchasing a German Shepherd from Von Warfenburg. Below you will find information that we feel will make the purchasing process easier and explain a bit of how we work.

All Von Warfenburg puppies come with limited American Kennel Club (AKC) puppy registration applications, kennel name, microchipped, current vaccinations and deworming records, puppy starter kit, raised following methods of puppy culture, and lifetime support.


UPDATE: April 2020, we have temporarily suspended offering shipping due to airlines and limited flights, please plan to pick your puppy up in person.
When you visit and pick up your puppy we will do our best to follow social distancing guidelines, this is not our normal and we will do everything we can to maintain our level of service and safety.

Pricing
Limited registration starts at $2,500.00 and up.
Full registration is available to approved homes only, $3,500.00 and up.
Picks of litter $3,000 and up limited registration, $4,000 and up full registration.
Adults and older puppies are priced individually, please contact us for these prices.

How to purchase your new puppy.
1. All potential purchasers are asked to submit an application, click here. This allows us to help you choose which litter and puppy will be the best match for you and your family.

​2. Once you have been approved for a puppy, you will get to choose a litter or puppy if already born. We do not accept deposits until the puppies have been born. We ask that you place a deposit of at least $500.00, this is applied towards the purchase price of your puppy. 
2a. Deposits can be made via a money order or check mailed to Warfenburg, Po Box 160, Linden TN 37096.
2b. All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another available puppy in the litter, or to a future litter if there is not a puppy available that matches your criteria. Deposit transfers will only be accepted up until the time puppies are 6 weeks of age. If a transfer of deposit is not made prior to this and you decide not to get the puppy the deposit was placed for then the deposit will be forfeited. Special considerations will only be made in the case of personal or family emergencies, military deployment, or natural disasters.

3. Once you have chosen your puppy the balance of purchase price including shipping, if required, will be due 7 days prior to planned shipping date, if puppy is to be shipped, OR at the time of pick up if you are picking the puppy up. If you are paying the balance in person when picking up the puppy we require this payment be made in cash.

4.We do offer shipping as we understand time constraints and distance maybe too far to travel when puppies are ready to go to their new homes. We ship using Delta, or American airlines to your nearest airport. Shipping charges are normally $500.00 for puppies that are under 25 pounds. Puppies that are over 25 pounds or during certain weather conditions (if temperatures are over 80 or below 20 at any point along the flight route) the shipping charges may be higher. Shipping charges include airfare, airline approved kennel, veterinary health certificate, transportation to our airport (a three hour trip for us), and all other items required by the airlines for flight.
NOTE: Puppies will be shipped at 8 weeks of age or older as required by the airlines. Please be aware with these airlines exact flights can not be booked more than 72 hours in advance, and our airport does not ship out on weekends. We do try to work with you to schedule flights that will arrive at a time that works best for your schedule.

5. Once you have purchased your puppy from us please know that we are here for you and the puppy for the life of the puppy. If at any time you have questions or concerns please reach out to us as our puppies are always part of our family. This also means that if you are unable to keep a puppy, provide proper care, or simply do not want the puppy any longer the puppy is to come back home to us. If you are planning to place the puppy in another home we ask to be given first chance of getting the puppy back, and to approve any home in which our puppy goes to.

Our puppies are NEVER to end up in a pound, shelter, or as strays. They are always welcomed back home with no questions asked.
